Adi Shankar wants to fulfill the dream of many Metroid fans
Now that the Castlevania series on Netflix is available with its 4 episodes, Nintendo Life comrades have interviewed Adi Shankar to talk about the present and future of the production, which has just confirmed a second season. However, what we did not expect was that he would openly say that he would love to produce a series based on one of the most important sagas of the Great N: Metroid.
Shankar is also taking charge of the animated adaptation of Assassin’s Creed and is very excited about it, but his ambitions within this industry go further and he does not want to limit himself to these two licenses, but also wants to work with the adventures of Samus Aran in A series of animation.
“I would love to adapt Metroid with the same dark animation style as with Castlevania.” We do not want there to be any confusion: this does not mean that there will be a television adaptation of Metroid soon, nor that it is being proposed: it is only a wish of Mr. Shankar. Nintendo has not said anything about it, so those who coincide with this possibility can only cling to the desire of the producer.
Metroid fans have a date on September 15 with Metroid: Samus Returns for 3DS.
